Pictured below are the before and after shots of a bearing retainer adapter. This is a recent project off of Doty’s large VTL. This bearing retainer adapter is machined from a steel 1045 forging. It has 18-1.375 holes at 41.75 bolt circle diameter through 13.5 inches of material. It was machined by one of Doty’s talented craftsmen. Another quality project […]
This is a cutter head that we machined on Doty’s VTL. It is approximately three foot in diameter and made from a 4140 steel forging. It will be used in the chipping process in the pulp and paper industry for one of our premier customers. Quality in manufacturing from our experienced machinists.
